Stiven had been working on his family farm since he was a teenager and works with his father's same passion. He took it upon himself to plant Caturra followed by a large plot of Pink Bourbon which proved to be a high yielding cultivar and a smart choice for their region. He is now motivated by the recognition his work gets abroad and the appreciation enthusiasts have for his coffee. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis stunning Gesha was harvested when ripe, fermented as whole cherries for 14 hours in a cement hopper, then pulped and fermented in a majolica tank for 32 hours. The coffee is then washed and dried for 20 days.
