MEXICO - Oaxaca - CEPCO

Producers in the beautiful Oaxaca region continue to identify with their indigenous roots using organic practices to manage their farms and protect their environment. Even though most of these farmers harvest, process and dry their own cherries, they have consolidated their efforts under the CEPCO co-op umbrella, which helps gain access to credit and certifications. CEPCO also ensures higher prices for the cherries and better income for producers to support best agricultural practices and an improved livelihood.
