This coffee is first processed with the natural process, drying completely in cherry after harvest. The decaffeination process is the Ethyl Acetate (EA) method. In this method, raw/green coffee is soaked in EA, a naturally occurring organic compound found in many fruits and vegetables which can be synthesized for coffee decaffeination. In the presence of EA, caffeine bonds with the solvent, rinsed thoroughly, re-dried and bagged for transport. This method paired with the natural process makes for an incredibly full flavored cup.
